Groove Magazine - Summer Mix By Sven Väth - 2017

This Year The Groove Magazine Asked Sven Väth To Compile A Summer Mix, And Guess What, He Said Yes ;-)

A few years ago the Groove Magazine started its summer mix cd series. As you might have guessed, every year the Groove Magazine asks one interesting artist to compile a summer mix.

So, Move d, Lawrence, Sven Weisemann, Moderat, and Job Jobse have already submitted their version of the perfect compilation. There was only one condition: The artists haven’t published an official compilation yet.

Well, as Sven Väth has already published uncountable compilations, this year the Groove Magazine made an exception. But it was absolutely worth it!

Sven Väth just knows how to develop a proper mix, you want to listen over and over and over again! Completely abandoning peak time Techno, he strings together incredibly beautiful tracks by Michael Mayer, Makam, Oliver Kapp, Kink, Talaboman, and ends with Baba Stilz’s Baby. The result: just an amazing summer mixtape!

Groove Magazine - Summer Mix By Sven Väth - 2017 - Rehberger

The cover was design by Sven Väth’s friend Tobias Rehberger. He is probably one of Germany’s most famous visual artists, e.g. Rehberger was commissioned to create an installation for the Palazzo delle Espozizioni at the 53rd Venice Biennial.

The Groove Magazine has talked with Sven Väth about the mix, the tracks selected, and, and, and… Just follow the link and you can read it by yourself ;-)

Thanks at the infamous Groove Magazine for making this happen!
